FIRST-AID CLASSES
INSTRUCTION AT PRISON The annual course in first-aid for the inmates of Mount Eden prison, which is held under the auspices of the Discharged Prisoners' Aid Society, has now begun, and members of the class are displaying a keen interest in the course, which provides a break in the monotony of prison life. As in former years, the lectures in the course are being given by Dr. Neil McDougall and Mr. J. W. Cuinming, of the Epsom division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, has undertaken the instruction of the class in practical work. The necessary books and bandages are being provided by the Discharged Prisoners' Aid Society.
