CAGE BIRD SOCIETY
The Newmarket Canary, Budgerigar and .Cage Bird Society held a social evening recently. About 100 members were present and the time was very pleasantly spent in dancing interspersed with items. The programme included items by Mr. Miller (piano-accordeon, and pianoforte solos), Mr. Higginson, Mrs. Gibbs and Mr. de Rose (songs). Mr. do Rose (tap dancing), and selections by Mr. Parkinson's string band. Among tho ladies present wore.— Mesdames C. Coopor, Minus, Mitchell, Binglev, R. Chambers, Compston, Hoi den. Vaider, Gilbert, Watson, Sparks. Wliittaker, Guthrie, Cole, Dean, Jack, M isses Lindsay, G. Cooper, Melhose, Mitchell (2), Graham, Compston, Colo, Sparks.
