OLYMPIC GAMES TEAM
DEPARTURE POSTPONED DELAY TO THE WANGANELLA [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION*] WELLINGTON, Thursday Owing to the departure of the Wanganella for Sydney having been postponed, the New Zealand Olympic team is not leaving until to-morrow. The New Zealanders will join the Australian party of 30 at Sydney, and from there t<,> Marseilles they will be really under t'he wing of the Australian manager.
An official farewell was extended last night by the New Zealand Olympic CounciJ. The council of the Dominion Boxing Association also met three boxers, and wished them a safe and successful trip. The team travels by the Mongolia, leaving Sydney on May 13.
