ACTING JUDGE
MR. DAVID MAUGHAN NEW SOUTH WALES BENCH SYDNEY. May 0 it It was announced by Cabinet to-day that Mr. David Maughan, K.C., has been appointed an acting Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. [ <t Mr. David Maughan was born in 1873 •in Sydney, and received a university education at Balliol Collegej Oxford. He was called to the Bar at Lincoln's Inn, London, in 1893, but returned to Australia three years later. He became a King's Counsellor in 1919, and in 1924 served for the first time as an acting Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
