MUSICAL PRODIGY
YOUNG NEW ZEALAND BOY STUDY TO BEGIN IN SYDNEY SYDNEY, May G Junior Farrcll, aged nine years, a New Zealand composer-pianist, who arrived at Sydney yesterday, having won a piano scholarship with Mr. Alexander Sverjensky, is to be under the guidance of Mr. Alfred Hill, the well-known New Zealand composer, now of the State Conservatorium of Music, Sydney. Mr. Hill said: " He has a great gift. Wo will take him along quietly and see what we can do about it." Junior Fnrrell is a son of Mr. T. Farrcll, of Wellington, and a nephew of Mr. John Farrell, New Zealand representative of tho firm of J. C. Williamson, Limited.
