LATE DAME CLARA BUTT GRANT TO VOCAL STUDENTS British Wireless RUGBY, May 5 The estate of the famous singer the late Dame Clara Butt has been proved at £39,517. She left £3OOO to the Royal College of Music. The income from this sum is to be used for an annual grant to the most successful and deserving male or female vocal student, who must previously have won a scholarship at the college. The grant is to assist him or her in starting a career.
