Wednesday The balance-sheet presented at the annual meeting of the Opotiki Lawn Tennis Club showed that the financial position had improved to 1 lie extent of £l2. The balance of assets over liabilities wna £2ll. The election of officers resulted:—President. Mr. .E. C. East; secretary, Mr. K. De Montalk; treasurer, .Mr. W. K. Debreceny; committee, Messrs. L. Sinclair, C. Burton, P. Fox, A. Jephson, W. Moir, Misses A. Cocks. E. Debreccny; hon. auditor, Mr. T. Braae, A long discussion took place on the question of putting down hard courts, which members considered would increase the membership.
