CRIPPLED CHILDREN FUND
A substantial sum for the Crippled Children Fund was raised as a result of a concert held by the Auckland Ulster Association. The Welsh Choir, of 45 voices, and Mr. Allan Morton, Now Zealand champion cornetist, from the Blind Institute, contributed items, and Miss Reka Patterson and Mr. Jones Parry sang. Humorous recitations were given by Miss Dorothy Joynt and sketches were presented by the Misses Phyllis Moore and Phyllis Harbourne. Miss Setters gave an Irish jig, accompanied by Mr. L. Armour, Madame Powdrill's pupils presented musical items and Miss Mary Cruickshank gave a, humorous sketch.
