KEEN DEMAND FOR SPACE 20 APPLICATIONS DECLINED [from oue own correspondent] HAMILTO:s t , Wednesday "The demand for space at the Waikato Winter Show this year has exceeded the room available, and 20 applications have had to be declined," said the secretary, Mr. W. H. Paul, at a meeting of the executive of the Waikato Winter Show Association yesterday. Regret was expressed that applicants could not be accommodated, and Mr. Paul said, in reply to a question whether more space would be available next year, that it was a matter of finance. It was decided to ask the director of agriculture, Sir. A. H. Cockayne, to visit the show and address a meeting of farmers. Mr. Paul reported that among those who had accepted invitations to visit the show were the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, the Hons. W. Nash, P. Fraser, R. Semple, H. T. Armstrong, W. E. Parry, F. Jones, P* C. Webb, W. Lee Martin, and M. Fagan, and 12 members of Parliament/
