SATURDAY CLOSING
SHOPS IN HOBART EXPERIMENT INTENDED (Received April 28, 12.15 a.m.) HOBART, April 27 The Labour Government of Tasmania intends to legislate for the closing of shops on Saturdays as an experiment for 12 months. The trades affected will be drapery, hardware and shoe retailers in Hobart and its suburbs.
