BAY OF PLENTY INTERESTS

A dance was held in tho Waioeka Hall last week by the Bay of Plenty Sheep Dog Trial Club. Many local and outside dancers attended. Prizes and trophies for events already completed were presented by the president, Mr. W. G. Butler, and a presentation was made to Mr. C. T. Clark in recognition of liis services to the club as and honorary secretary, another being made to Mr. C. Black in honour of his approaching marriage. The supper arrangements were carried out by the ladies' committee, comprising Mrs. S. Butler, Mrs. C. T. Clark, Mrs. G. Powell, M iss M. Thompson, Miss S. Stansbury and Miss M. Beid.
