POWER RETICULATION
EXTENSION TO ROTO-ITI [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] ROTORUA, Monday Advice has been received that the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. R. Semple, has approved of a scheme for the provision of electric lighting facilities for settlers in the Roto-iti district. Certain details in connection with the scheme have yet to be arranged by the district electrical engineer of the Pu.blic Works Department at Hamilton, but it is understood that the cost will be in the vicinity of £2OOO and that the reticulation will extend from the 14 to the 20-mile peg.
