LADIES' PENNANT GAMES FIRST ROUND DECIDED MAUNGAKIEKIE BEATS TITIRANGI The first of the ladies' inter-club pennant matches was decided, yesterday under conditions which were ideal for low scoring. One A grade match was played and resulted in a win for Maungakiekie, which defeated Titirangi by seven games to five. In the B grade section four contests were decided. Pupuke, Glcndowie and Akarana defeated North Shore, Otahuhu and Auckland respectively, while the contest between Maungakiekie and Titirangi finished all square, each team securing six wins.
