ONEHUNGA AFFAIRS
At a meeting of the Onehunga Borough Council last night tho assist-ant-town clerk, Mr. N. L. Norman, was appointed acting-town clerk during the absence of the town clerk, Mr. H. A. Yocknev, who has been granted pi.x months' leave of absence. The Mount Koskill Road Board wrote agreeing to have warnings to motorists pained on Mount Albert Road at a suitable distance from the Hoyal Oak intersection, with a view to minimising accidents. The board is further to bo requested to take similar action on its portion of Manukau Road.
