FREEZING WORKERS
LOYALTY TO OLD UNION [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON. Monday A combined meeting of the Ngahauranga and Gear Freezing Company workers yesterday resolved unanimously:—" To pledge themselves loyally to abide by the constitution of the old Wellington District Freezing Works and Allied Trades Employees' Industrial Union of Workers, and to oppose strenuously any attempt, either directly or indirectly, to sink the identity of tho said union, and to call on all workers for co-operation." Similar resolutions have been carried elsewhere, the object being tho resuscitation of the old freezing workers' federation, with the ultimate object of workers or the industry being governed by a Dominion union.
