AUSTRALIAN NAVY
WARSHIP CONSTRUCTION A further building programme is projected by the Australian Naval Board, according to Mr. N. Frazer, managingdirector of thci Cockatoo Dock, Sydney, who with Mrs. Frazer, arrived by tlio Aorangi yesterday en route to England. Cruisers, seaplane carriers and other types of naval craft have in the past been built at the Cockatoo Dock, which has recently been engaged in the construction of sloops for the Royal Australian Navy. The sloop Yarra was built last year and another filoop. tlio Swan, will be handed over to the naval authorities this year. Mr. Frazer understands that the future programme will embrace a different type of craft, possibly destroyers. Mr. Frazer is making a business visit to Canada, the United States and England, where ho will study the latest developments in shipbuilding and dockyard facilities.
