ARMS FOR BRITAIN
BIG ORDERS BEING PLACED £1,000,000 A WEEK LONDON, April 2G The Government is now placing contracts for armaments at a rate of £1,000,000 a week, says the People. Orders for material and equipment are being given, wherever possible, to distressed areas. Big contracts for guns and ammunition will go to Woolwich and Birmingham.
