CROQUET CLUBS
Grey Lyrfh. At the At Home held at the Grey Lynn croquet lawns last week the president, Mrs. Curtis, welcomed a large number of visitors from most of the Auckland clubs, also the members of the Auckland executive. She presented boxes of flowers to Mesdames McGill, Keesing, 1* inch, Hamilton and Mclvor. At the close of the progressive games prizes were presented to A, Mrs. Crookbain and Mr 3. Healey; B, Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Bischoff. Rocky Nook.—A very pleasant afternoon was spent on the lawns of the Rocky Nook Croquet Club last week, when the president, Mrs. W. H. Keatlev, entertained a large number of members, honorary members and friends. The weather was all that could be desired and progressive croquet was played. Mrs. Keatley presented prizes to the following players: A, Mesdames Thomson, Flinn, Jury; B, Mesdames Jones, J. Butler and Greenwood. Afternoon tea was served in the pavilion, during which Mrs. Hyde, vice-president, presented Mrs. Keatley with a beautiful bouquet. Mrs. McGill, president of the Auckland Croquet Association, was also presented with a posy of autumntinted flowers. Among those present were: Mesdames McGill, Keesing, Hamilton, Robertson, Flinn, Garrard, Webber, Badeley, Thomson, Bartlett, Meikle, Keatley, Hyde, Hodgson, J. Kayes, Garland, Turner, Matthews, Rutledge., Urquhart, Eaddy, Buckley, Baker, Wyles, H. Turner, Hayhow, M. Keatley, Davies, Haite, Butler, Wakerley, Preston, Rowden, Wallace, T. Wilson, Dunn, Holes, Barton, Dawson, Anderson. M. Wilson, R. Page, J. Stormont, Misses Keatley, Halliwell, Mclnnes, Kayes, Page, Barton.
