ENGAGEMENTS
The engagement is announced between Alice Theresa (lrixie) only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Lamb, Omahu Road, Remuera, and Herbert Clyde, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Ellett, Ihumatao, Mangere. The engagement is announced of Joyce, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace E. Salter, of 5 Beach Road. Milford, and Eric William Harris, of Waharoa, second son of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Harris, of Great South Road, Huntly, The engagement is announced between the Earl of Feversham and the Hon. Anne Wood, only daughter of Viscount and Viscountess Halifax, wrote our London correspondent on April 4. When Lady Halifax was in New Zealand a number of years ago she was Lady Dorothy Onslow. The Earl of Feversham is a Lord-in-Waiting to the King. He is Master of the Sinnington Hounds, and Miss Wood is also well known in the hunting field. Her father, Lord Halifax, is joint Master of the Middleton, whose country adjoins_that of the Sinnington. Miss Wood is 25 and her fiance 29.
