ENLARGING A BOROUGH
INCREASE AT HAMILTON 50-ACRE ESTATE ADDED [from oub own correspondent! HAMILTON, Sundsi By a decision of the Department of Internal Affairs the area of the Hamilton Borough is to be increased by about 50 acres, by the addition of the Richmond Estate, which is at present in the Waipa County area. The estate is situated on Ohailpo Road t about a mile from the Hamilton post office. In 1924 the area was subdivided and roaded, and is now rapidly being covered by dwellings. A commission to consider the futur# of the estate sat in Hamilton in I'ebruarv, the members being Messrs. S. LPaterson, S.M., and T. Tudhope anu YV A. Gordon. In their report to the Department of Internal. Affairs they recommended that the estate be included id the borough.
