NEXT SUMMER FIXTURE APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Sunday It was decided at a meeting of the committee of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association to hold the next summer show on November 6 and 7. Tho following officers were appointed:— Executive. —Messrs. C. Bailey, H. J. Finlayson, R. J. Franklin, G. Hinton, R. Hinton, G. Jew, B. H. Moreland, T. Martin, W. H. Miers, J. M. McNicol, H. Windsor, H. Whewell; supplementary committee, Messrs. P. T. Powell, N. K. Taylor, J. M. Baxter, T. Clarkin, S. B. Grant, J. B. Grant, G. Irvine, R. Jones, E. A. McDonald, W. G. Kay, P. McNaughton, W. S. Phillips, S. Rhodes, D. Riddell, J. J. Ryburn, S. Saulbrey, G. M. Watt, R. Wattam, A. M. Wilson; delegates to annual conference, Messrs. R. A. Hinton and W. H. Miers; nominee for tho Northern district council of the Boyal Agricultural Society, Mr. W. L. Ranstead; Royal Show committee, Mr. W. H. Miers. COMING WINTER DISPLAY INCREASED BUTTER ENTRIES [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Sunday Entries frpm factories throughout New Zealand have been received for the butter and cheese sections at the forthcoming Waikato Winter Show. Butter entries total 800, against 751 last year, but there has been a decline in cheese entries from 502 last year to 425. The combined entries total 1225. compared with 1253 last year.
