SECOND ROUND DECIDED PLAY DURING THE WEEK-END AKARANA BEATS MAUNGAKIEKIE Matches in the second round of the pennant golf competition were played yesterday. In the A grade Akarana scored a decisive win over Maungakiekie by nine games to three, and Titirangi easily accounted for North Shore. Four B grade matches were decided, Titirangi, Otahuhu, Maungakiekio and Pupuke defeating Remuera, Akarana, Glendowie and North Shore respectively.
