PLUMBER SEVERELY BURNED FUMES FROM PAINT IGNITE [by telegraph OWN* correspondent] "WANGANUI. Sunday An explosion in a tank at Hunterville on Thursday afternoon resulted in a single .man, Mr. Reginald Hodson, aged about 30 years, suffering severe burns. Mr. Hodson, who is a plumber, was painting tho interior of the tank with a special type of paint. He entered tho tank through a manhole at tho top. leaving this as his only means of egress. It is thought that the fumes which arose from the paint came in contact with a naked light, and an explosion and fire occurred. Mr. Hodson pulled himself out, and when assistance arrived he was found to be in a serious condition. He was reported this evening to be making satisfactory progress-
