NO DATE YET FIXED The decision of the Executive Council to grant a new trial to Eric Mareo, musician, who has been in Mount Eden prison for 57 days under sentence of death on conviction for the murder of his wife, Thelma Clarice Mareo, was communicated to Mareo, yesterday by one of his counsel, Mr. K. C. Aekins. No date has yet been fixed for the new trial, which will probably take place in the Supremo Court at Auckland. It is not yet known whether the Crown Prosecutor, Mr. V. E.
