As tomorrow is Anzac Day, there ■will,be no racing in New Zealand or Australia at the week-end, with the exception of one small gathering in Queensland. In any case, there is always a lull in Dominion racing after the Avondale autumn meeting, which marks the end of the racing season under the 7.0 minimum, in the Auckland Province. Increasing interest is being taken in the winter programmes, the first of which in the North Island is the Egmont Racine Club's meeting, and for Which the weights are available.
