WAIKATO WINTER SHOW
PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION A special section is being provided by the Waikato Winter Show Association for photographic exhibits at the show on May 26. There are 23 classes, and substantial prizes and diplomas are offered to successful exhibitors of New Zealand landscapes, seascapes, and adult and child figure studies. The association has done much to encourago an interest in afforestation and bush preservation, and invites the co-operation of photographers by providing classes for pictures of kauri, rimu, and other native trees, and groups of native trees. The show will be opened by the Prime Minister, Mr. Savage, on May 26, and will continue until Juno 3. Entries in the photographic section close on May 2, and late entries on May 9. Exhibits of photographs will bo received up to May 23.
