NO AGTION AT PRESENT [by TELEGRAPH —SPECIAL REPORTER] WELLINGTON. Thursday A reply to a question by Mr. H. S. S. Kyle (Opposition—li iccarton) whether the Government would lift the present embargo ,ou tho importation of stud animals from Great Britain haa been given by the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. W . Lee Martin. No immediate action was contemplated. "While the Government fully realises the weight and the value of scientific opinion on this question, it lias also to boar in mind the strong feeling against the lifting of tho embargo which exists among a considerable section of the J ( a J"ming community," said the Minister. Owing to their preoccupation with major problems the Government has not yet been able to give consideration to the question of policy involved."
