SHUT-DOWN ON SUNDAY

Urgent repairs to the Auckland Electric-power Board's sub-station at Newmarket, which was damaged when struck by lightning last Monday, will necessitate the supply of electric power being shut down between 1.30 and 4 o'clock on Sunday afternoon in the area served by the sub-station.
