CANADIAN COURT'S RULING RIGHT TO EXPRESS OPINION WINNIPEG, April 21 Dr. Omar Hague was discharged because he issued an interview endorsing euthanasia, or "mercy killings." He was awarded three months' salary as damages against the St. Boniface Catholic Hospital. The Supreme Court ruled that a professional man has the right to express himself on scientifio facts.
