MIAMI TO NEW YORK
FLYING RECORD BROKEN (Received April 22, 6.5 p.m.) NEW YORK. April 21 Mr. Howard Hughes to-day established a new flying record from Miami to New York. He left Miami this morning and covered the distance of 1196 miles in four hours, 21 minutes, 32 seconds, his average speed being 276 miles an hour.
