CONTROVERSIAL ISSUES
(STORMY SESSION PREDICTED CRITICS OF GOVERNMENT ' LONDON, April 21 The political correspondent of the Morning Post says the Government is likely to face a stormy session. The Opposition will vigorously attack it on domestic issues and also it will meet with widespread discontent among its own followers on its Imperial, foreign and defence policies. A strong section will not be' content until it is categorically assured that territories at present under British rulo will in no circumstances fye ceded to a foreign Power. Overwhelming opinion in tli6. House is opposed to the transfer of native peoples to the Nazis. The House of Commons is most anxious lest the negotiations between Britain and Egypt should result in a compromise under which important strategic centres would bo evacuated by British forces. Conservatives also are closely watching future foreign trade agreements, especially with Denmark and Argentina. They consider that more attention should be paid to the defence of home agriculture's interests, oven at the expense of export trade. The Prime Minister, Mr. Baldwin, shortly will address back benchers at a privato dinner, and his speech will bo most important in view of his efforts to rally the party.
