RECRUITING SUSPENDED POLICY UNDER CONSIDERATION [BY TELEGRAPH —SPECIAL REPOBTEK] WELLINGTON, "Wednesday Recruiting for the special Police Force Reserve established about .three years ago has been suspended, accord* ing to a statement made in the House of Representatives to-day by the Minister in charge of the Police Department, Hon. P. Fraser, in reply to * question from Mr. W. J. Lyon (Government—Waitemata). "The Police Force Reserve has not been disbanded," the Minister said, "but recruiting has been suspended, and the question of retaining the services of the present members of the' reserve is under consideration."
