CLUBS REORGANISED . ALTERATIONS TO LAWS The reorganisation of tbe Northcote and W.Y.M.I. Clubs was the subject of favourable comment by members of the Control Board :>f the Auckland Football Association at its meeting last evening. "The chairman, Mr. L.,Munro. said that the fielding of junior teams by the club was appreciated by the boaid. Advice was received from the Referees' Association that several alterations to the laws of the game had been received from England. These would be in force this season. , ; , ' Allegations that two of its players had been approached by another club were made by the Y.M.C.A. Club. The board took a serious view of the matter and as there was a definite charge made it was decided thai the officials named should appear before tlit next board meeting. The New Zealand council advised that in view jf the fact that there appeared to be a considerable amount of chancing of residences from one centre to another, the council had decided that any piayer leaving a centre must have his clearance endorsed by thte council.
