ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
AWARDS TO MEMBERS Cabled advice has been received from London by Colonel G. Barclay, Chief Commissioner of the St. John Ambulance Brigade in New Zealand, that the jubilee celebrations of the brigntle will be held at the termination of the coronation functions in England next year. The Grand Prior of the Order of St. John has approved the issue of the service medal of the order to Ambu-lance-Officer F. Davidson and Private T. F. Paterson, of the National Kescrve Ambulance Division. A service chevron, representing three years' efficient service, has been awarded to Private H. Gavin, of tho Huntly Ambulance Division. Cadet proficiency badges have been awarded to the following cadets, who have qualified in the subjects stated: National Reserve Cadet Nursing Division: J. Henderson (handicraft, hygiene, physical exercises, clerical ability): D. Arnold (knowledge of the order, handicraft, fire-fighting, physical exercises). Papatoetoe Cadet Nursing Division: N. McLeod (home nursing, public service, handicraft, homecrait); F. Kitto (home nursing,, public service, hygiene, homecraft).
