PUKEKOHE FIRE BRIGADE
[from our own* correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Tuesday Before a large gathering in the social room at the Pukekohe fire station last evening, a presentation of service honours to members of the fire brigade took place. The Routly Cup, for aggregate points in the competitions, was presented by the superintendent, Mr. N. L Brown, to Foreman G. Narbey. The chairman of the Fire Board, Mr. John Routly, presented the Blandford Ladder Cup to Fireman li. Johnston, a live-vear medal to Fireman E. Harris, and two-year service bars to Foreman G. Narbey, Fireman A. Peirce and Fireman S. McKinnon. Foreman Narbey and Fireman Peirce have each now completed a total of 11 years' service and Fireman McKinnon nine years.
