SCHOOL DENTAL CLINIC

MEETING AT WHANGAREI [BY TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT] WHANGAREI, Tuesday The report presented at the sixth annual meeting of the Whangarei Schools Dental Clinics Committee by the chairman. Mr. M. W. Porter, showed that the numbers on the fclinio registers had very substantially increased. The report expressed regret that the committee was forced during the year to discontinue the treatment of undcr-school-age children, and hoped that conditions would improve soon and so again allow of the treatment of infants. The total number of operations during the year was 4569, as compared with 428G for the previous year. The attendances T>f children were 1747, while the children on clinic registers numbered 623. The following committee- was elected: —Messrs. C. V. Stringer and J. Burfoot (Whangarei school), W. A. Robinson and It. AV. Parker (Horaliora), and M. W. Porter and J. Reir) (Whau Vailey). Messrs. Porter and Robinson were re-elected chairman and secretary respectively.
