FAIRFIELD BRIDGE
CONTRACT TIME EXTENDED [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tueßday An extension of time until August 3] next in which to complete the Fairfield Bridge was sought by the contractors, the Poose Shipping Comp'any, Limited, and was granted by the Waikato County Council to-day.
The managing-director of the company, Mr. C. Poose, stated that the builders had been very unfortunate in the weather experienced. For four months on end the river was in flood and the building of the coffer dams was delayed.
