CYCLISTS FALL
COLLEGE HILL MISHAPS The damp surface of the carriageway on College Hill early yesterday morning resulted in two cyclists skidding and being thrown heavily to the ground. Codric Michael Clare, aged 16, of 18 Blake Street, Ponsonby, fell near the top of the hill shortly before eight o'clock and suffered severe concussion and abrasions to the face and hands. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by a St. John ambulance. A few minutes later another youth, Cyril O'Connell, of 6 Shelly Bench Road, Heme Bay, also fell at about the same spot and was taken to the hospital by an ambulance. He, however, was able to proceed home after receiving attention,
