CORNWALL CLUB'S RACE Following is the result of the Cornwall Pigeon Club's sinnle young birds championship rncc, from Palmorston North, on airline distance of 247 miles:—Mr. C. Warner's Lord Barker. 1; Mr P. Whitley s Hangitira, 2; Mr. L. Bedford s No 33. 3: Mr. G. Martin's No. 1. 4. NORTHERN CLUB'S EVENT A combined race for two-year-old pigeons was decided from Levin to Auckland, an airline distance of 205 miles, by the Northern Racing Pigeon Club during the weekend. The birds were liberated at 7 a.m. on Sunday and the winner, owned by Mr. 8. Webb, Mount Eden, reached its loft at 11.31 a.m. yesterday. Following are the plucings:—A. Webb's entry, 490 yds per mm. 1; \V. Swain's entry, 495 yds, 2; D. Follas entry, 494.7yd5. 3; E. Harland's entry. 493.2yd5, 4; W. Donaldson's entry, 489 yds. 5; T. Petrie's entry, 480.5yd5, 6; R. Davis'entry, 486.1vd5, 7; W. Kemp's entry, 485 yds. 8; D. Wallace's entry. 478 yds, 9; J. Spiers' entry, 476 yds, 10. The winner was bred by R. Fullerton, of Mount Eden. PUKEMIRO JUNCTION CLUB Following is the result of the Pukemiro Junction Flying Club's race from Feilding, a distance of 183 miles:—Mr. T. Smiths entry, 903 yds per min., 1: Mr. A. Lawson's entry, 960.5yd5, 2: Mr. E. Hazell's entry. 900.2yd5, 3: Mr. J. Garrick s entry. 900.1 yds, 4. , , The club will hold the last race of the seuson from Wellington on Saturday.
