HUNTLY SEASON OPENED [from our own corkespondent] HUNTLY, Monday The official opening of the Huntly Golf Club was held on Saturday. The weather was fine and there was a large attendance of members and visitors from other clubs. The president extended a welcome to the gathering and after the first bull was driven by the club captain. Mr. E. V. Daldy, the links were declared open for play. Mixed foursomes were played during the afternoon for club trophies, the winners being Miss Watson and Dalziell, and the runners-up, Mrs. Daldy and L. Armer.

Holly (Morrinsville)._ TE AROHA CLUB [from our own correspondent] TE AROHA, Monday Boisterous weather did not prevent a large number of members ana visitors assembling for the official opening of the Te Aroha Golf Club on Saturday afternoon. The links were in (food order and the opening competition, mixed foursomes, was won by Mrs. W. Hunger and Mr. C. Murphy.
