WRESTLING CONTEST
MATCHES IN THE SOUTH WOODS DEFEATS KENT [by TELEGRAPH —rRESS association] WELLINGTON, Monday In a wrestling match to-night Joe Woods defeated Harry Kent. Woods secured a fall in the sixth round with a head scissors and arm bar, following short arm jolts. He had been awarded a penalty fall in the third round. Kent secured a fall in the fourth round with a dump and body press.
JACK FORSGREN WINS WADE UNABLE TO CONTINUE [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] INVERCARGILL, Monday In a professional wrestling contest this evening Jack Forsgren defeated Glen Wade. Wade obtained a fall in the third round, but conceded a submission fall in tho fifth and was not able to come out of his corner for the sixth round.
