CARRIAGE IN BRITISH SHIPS REPORT WITHOUT BASIS' LONDON. April 17 The Australian Associated Press says it is authoritatively assured that there is no basis for the report that the Pacific shipping negotiations included the question of restricting Dominion goods to British ships. The matter was not broached, and the certainty of retaliation, which would undermine the essential universality of British shipping, would produce its quick abandonment if the suggestion were ever officially raised.
