PAPAKURA, Sunday The official op9ning of the Clevedon Golf Club was held yesterday. There was an attendance of about 70, including visitors from Otahuhu, Papakura and Manukau Clubs. Mixed Canadian foursomes were pluyed, the winners being Hadlem, a visitor from Tasmania, on a 3 handicap, and Miss F. Burgoyne, with a net score of 43 over 12 holes. The president, Mr. D. M. Bryan, in declaring the links open, welcomed the visitors from surrounding clubs. The club, he said, was flourishing and a number of new members had joined. Mr. Cox (Otahuhu) replied on behalf of the visitors.
