WAIKATO PRIMARY SCHOOLS A suggestion that Waikato primary schools be directly represented on the Waikato Hockey Association met with approval at the annual meeting of the Waikato Primary Schools' Hockey Association. It was decided to approach the Waikato Association at an early date. The report stated that prospects for the year appeared bright as more schools would be competing and it was expected that boys would be provided with sticks at a nominal cost. It was decided to commence the season on May 28. The secretary was instructed to approach associations in other districts with a view to arranging representative matcheß during the August holidays. The following officers were elected President, Mr. vf. A. Curteis; vice president, Mr. Mark; secretary, Mr. A. L. Baker: committer Messrs. Andrews, Cromwell, Fabling, Qracie.
