AUSTRALIAN TEAM'S VISIT DIVISION OF COMPETITIONS Favourable comment on the fiict that jour matches wrre to be played in Auckland in July by the Australian Association s representative touring team was expressed by members of the control board of the AupKland Football Association - at its meeting last evening, when the itinerary of the tour was received from the New Zealand Council. , , ~ Considerable discussion ensued on the question of grading the entries for the senior, reserve, second and third grade open competitions. It was decided to abolish the grading in vogue last season and substitute the following:—First division: North Shore, Thistle, Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys. Comrades, Metro-College, Ponsonby, and the reserve teams of these clubs. Second division: Y.M.C.A.. Eastern Suburbs, Abels. Onehunga, Philomel and New Lynn, and their reserves. Third division: Teams which would, under the old procedure, be playing in second or third open grades. A large number of entries was received for the different grades, but the junior management committee reported that, as its entries had been extended a week, it was unable to definitely state the personnel of the grades under its jurisdiction. VISITING TEAM'S ITINERARY The itinerary of the Australian Association football team's visit to New Zealand has been arranged as follows: June 17.—Arrive at Auckland. June 20.—v. "Wanganui, at Wanganui. June 23.—v. "Wellington, at Wellington. June 27.—v. Canterbury, at Christchurch. July I.—v. Otago, at Dunedin. July 4.—First test, at Dunedin. July 9.—v. Hawke's Bay, at Napier, July 11.—Second test, at "Wellington. July 15.—v. Taranaki, at New Plymouth. July 18.—v. Auckland, at Auckland. July 22.—v. South Auckland, at Auckland. July 25.—Third test, at Auckland. July 29.—v. Navy, at Auckland. August I.—Leave Auckland.
