DOUBLE FATALITY
MOTORISTS IN ENGLAND BOTH NEW ZEALANDERS CAR STRIKES A TREE By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, April 12 Two New Zealand medical students who were stud3 r ing at Edinburgh UniveVsity were killed in a motoring accident to-day. They were: Mr. William Thomas Gray. Mr. Herbert Masson Gilray. The accident happened near Grantham, Lincolnshire. The car was being driven by Mr. Gray and it crashed through a hedge and struck a tree. Mr. Gray was killed instantly and Mr. Gilray died after admission to hospital. The iate Mr. Herbert Gilray was the only son of Dr. T. M. Gilray, of Napier, and a grandson of Lady Cooper, of 18 Martin Avenue, Remuera. Aged about" 20, he received hiu secondary education at the Napier Boys' High School and later studied at Otago University for a year. Early last year ha commenced a medical course at Edinburgh University. Mr. William Gray was a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Gray, of Napier. He was 22 years of age and was educated at the Napier High School. He had been three years in Scotland and had recently passed his second medical examination.
