SABOTAGE ON SUBMARINE
INVESTIGATION TO BE MADE SIX-INCH SPANNER FOUND LONDON, April 12 As a sequel to rpcent cases of sabotage on warships, members of the Secret Service visited Plymouth to investigate a mishap to the submarine L 54, which was recently refitted nt, Devoiiport, When a vital motor was started up a 6in. spanner was found in the electrical equipment in such a position that if the submarine had dived it might have been prevented from returning to the surface.
