The Canopus arrived from Westport yesterday morning. She is at Western Wharf. The Kairanga sailed for Newcastle, via Wellington, on Saturday afternoon to load for Wellington. The Waimarino left Wellington for Auckland on Saturday evening with cargo from South Island ports. She is due this evening. The tanker Thorhild arrived at Wellington from San Pedro yesterday with a cargo of bulk fuel oil for the Union Company. The WaiDiata is to leave Dunedin tomorrow for Auckland, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due at Auckland early next week. The Karepo arrived from Westport on Saturday night and berthed at Cbelsea. After discharge she will proceed to Portland, Napier, Wellington and Greymouth. THE ZEALANDIC The Shaw, Savill and Albion motor-ship Zealandic sailed for Dunkirk and London, via Panama, on Saturday evening. THE SIMONSIDE The Simonside sailed for Wanganui on Saturday evening to complete unloading phosphates from Nauru Island.

CANADIAN SCOTTISH TO LOAD The Canadian Scottish is now scheduled to arrive from Adelaide on May 4 to complete loading for New York, Boston and Montreal. THE HURUNUI The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Hurunui completed loading on Saturday, and yesterday morning she was despatched for London, Avonmciuth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn. LIMERICK REPORTS The Union Company's motor-ship Limerick has reported by wireless that she will arrive from Los Angeles next Saturday. MONOWAI FROM SYDNEY The Monowai arrived from Sydney last evening, having experienced continuous hea<i winds and seas during the passage. The vessel berthed at Prince's Wharf to land 189 passengers, as well as mail and cargo. She is scheduled to sail for Wellington and Sydn es at 11 o'clock to-morrow nignt. •* TANKER TURICUM The tanker Turicum arrived from Singapore at mid-day on Saturday. After unloading a quantity of bulk petrol at Western Wharf for the' Shell Company she sailed for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin last evening to complete discharge. From Dunedin she will return to Singapore. AORANGI DUE 7 A.M. Due from Vancouver, Honplulu and Suva at seven o'clock this morning, the Royal Mail liner Aorangi will berth at Prince's Wharf to land passengers, mail and cargo for New Zealand. She is to resume her voyage to Sydney at 11 o'clock to-morrow night. NEWSPRINT FROM NOVA SCOTIA Generally fair weather and an uneventful voyage was experienced by the steamer Salvus, which arrived from Liverpool. Nova Scotia, yesterday afternoon and berthed at King's Wharf. The vessel has 5400 tons of newsprint. She will unload about 1600 tons at Auckland and the remainder at Whangarei. WATOTAPU ,IN COMMISSION Rfcommissioned in the transpacific cargo service after over four years' idleness, the Waiotapu sailed for Vancouver, via Newcastle, Suva and Apia, on Saturday morning. THE PORT WAIKATO The Port Waiknto left Coff's Harbour on Thursday for Dargaville, where she is due to-morrow.
