NORTHERN WAIROA MEN [by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] DARGAVILLE, Saturday The statement of receipts and expenditure presented at the annual meeting of the Northern Wairoa Returned Soldiers' Association showed a credit balance of £163, compared with £156 at the end of the previous financial year. In a plea for increased membership the president, Mr. J. H. Stubbs, said that if the membership showed a decline the strength of the association when making requests to the Government was weakened.
