Green at the annual mooting of the Northern Wairoa Returned Soldiers' Association. " Some want pictures and sport, and there is talk of allowing sport on the latter half of the day, ho continued. " It is time we took a stand. 1 think this meeting should pledge itself to support the sacred significance of Anz,ac Day." A resolution that the meeting port any movement to keep Anzac Day sacred was carried.
